Willamette Valley Country Club Wedding | Mitch + Krissy

This sweet wedding at the Willamette Valley Country Club in Canby, Oregon was my first time shooting at this location. I love photographing weddings at new locations! So fun and exciting, and adds diversity to my portfolio! One of my favorite parts of the whole day was the couples portrait session. I am ALWAYS on the hunt for great locations for vibrant, fall foliage… and I found it!

When I was scouting before the wedding started I saw these full, bright, colorful trees and I got really, really excited. Thankfully Krissy and I were on the same wavelength about the fall trees so we were able to do a lot of the formal shots at this location.

THEN… a ray of sunlight came out through the trees and illuminated Krissy’s hair like a halo. Mitch and I both froze and said “Krissy do not move!!!” You will see those images below, but it was absolute perfection.

Another really heartwarming aspect of this wedding day and venue was the fact that Krissy basically grew up playing and hanging out at this country club. She had been envisioning herself getting married here since she was a little girl and it was a honor to be able to help bring her dreams come to life through the photos I was able to capture.

Mitch & Krissy, you two are phenomenal! Your wedding was perfect. The weather was more than I could have ever asked for. Your friends and family are so fun to be around and I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.
