Mt. Hood Intimate Wedding | Kaleb & Jade

Grab your tissues my friends, because this Hood River wedding was filled with so much love and emotion that you are going to need them! Kaleb and Jade have such a beautiful story that God has so eloquently written. It was an absolute privilege to be able to photograph and video all the priceless moments that August day.

Sometimes I get chills just thinking about the thin threads that bring people together. Kaleb & Jade literally met in a Uber. The story goes on from there. Anyone who knows them, who was at their wedding, or who sees their wedding photos or video, will know without a shadow of a doubt that they were meant for each other.

The day before their wedding, there was a forest fire on the hills behind the orchard where their ceremony & reception was to be held. Something Kaleb talked about in his letter to Jade was the fact that the Enemy must really not want them to get married— He tried to literally evacuate them via a forest fire. Which just tells us that the Lord is going to use them, and their marriage, in mighty, mighty ways. I am beyond excited to see what God does in this next season of their life!

I seriously cannot express to you how much I loved shooting this wedding. Every single person who attended was so full of life, joy and had such a fun spirit. It was a very emotional day, but that just showed me the deep, genuine connection between each person present. I am so grateful that I was able to photograph, capture, document every single little moment and memory from that amazing day.
